We have moved from California to Sicily for a three year adventure. Here we share all of the new things we have been able to do and exciting places we've been able to explore!

Here is the Italian style presepe (nativity) that we made. We made everything except for the people and animals. There are more pictures on Shutterfly.

Halloween 07
I thought the wicked witch threatened bodily harm to the Tin Man. They look in love to me.
Munchkin, Glinda, a perfect Dorothy, and the brainless one
We're Off to See the Wizard!!!!
Yep, you're gonna get wet.
We decided to be characters from the Wizard of Oz this year. The Cowardly Lion was Ella's friend Rowan. Ella made a great Munchkin and Abby was a perfect Good Witch of the North. Our Italian neighbors were so intrigued by our spooky decorations that they actually came to our door to see what was going on. They had only waved from across the street up until that point. Of course, they also didn't understand why anyone would have a party that started before 8:00pm!!!

Greek Cruise
The Bridge of Sighs in Venice
Sight of the first Olympic Stadium
Ninja Cats pose in Plaka, Athens
Olympia
Piazza San Marco Venice
We went on our first cruise and it was to the Greek islands. We first visited Venice and left from there. We stopped in Athens, Katakalon, Corfu, and Split Croatia. We saw the Acropolis, the site of the ancient Olympic games, and other cool stuff. Venice was great as well. We had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa Eady, and Uncle Rick and Sylvia.

Our Trip to Mount Etna
Easter
We haven't posted forever because Caleb hasn't taken any pictures! So, in the interest of keeping the blog current, I am going to post pictures taken by Carmen as well. Here are a bunch of Easter pictures. The Easter bunny was able to find us and Ella thought she was in heaven. She woke up and there was candy hidden all over the house. It doesn't get better than that!

Felix
My friend from Colorado sent me Felix the rabbit to visit for a week. Here are some pictures I sent him and my reply:
Dear Michael
Thank you for sending Felix to me. I had a fun time showing him around Sicily. He got to see what the military base is like and where I go to school. He also got to see the Mediterranean Sea. I live very close to the water in a town called Catania.
I think the thing Felix liked best about his visit was seeing Mt. Etna. Mt. Etna is an active volcano. Since moving here in July 2006 I have seen lava pouring out of the top many times. It is really cool. Right now there is snow on the top of it. You can see more pictures of Felix and I on my blog http://sicilianadventure.blogspot.com
I would love for Felix to come back and visit again. There is so much to see on this island and I know he would have fun. Thank you again for letting me have Felix for a week.

Trip to Palermo 02JAN07 By: Caleb
Today I went to Palermo from Catania. We went the shortcut. When we got there, we had trouble with traffic. But it was cool. We saw a clown juggling bowling pins. Then we went to see skeletons over one hundred years old. There was more than a hundred of them. Next we went to a very old church. After that it started to rain. We took a drive to an Opera House and then we saw a rainbow on mainland. We went under about 74 tunnels. Then we went to Taormina and went up, up, up, up, to the top. The End.
These pictures were taken by my mom of the rainbow and looking across the Straits of Messina to mainland Italy.
